Product testing is one of the most genuinely useful things a brand can do before a launch. Lab data and focus groups only get you so far — at some point, someone needs to use the thing at home, with kids running around, on a Tuesday morning. That's where you come in.
How GetSamples product testing works
- Brands brief us on the product, the target audience and the questions they want answered.
- We match the brief against our member base and invite suitable households.
- You opt in, we ship, you use the product over the test window.
- You complete a short, structured survey — usually 5–10 minutes.
- The brand receives an aggregated, anonymised report.
What "honest feedback" actually means
Brands aren't paying for five-star reviews — they're paying for the truth. Critical feedback is often the most valuable. Our Honest Feedback Policy sets out what we expect from members and what brands can never ask for.
What you'll be asked
- How easy was the product to use?
- Did it deliver on what it promised?
- How does it compare to what you usually buy?
- Would you buy it, and at what price?
- Any open feedback you'd want the brand to hear.
Who runs product tests on GetSamples?
Independent UK startups, household name FMCG brands, beauty challengers, pet and baby specialists, and food & drink launches. If a brand is selling something into UK homes, we can run a test for them.
